Leiloni Sue (Young) Young

Leiloni Sue Young, 57, left this world surrounded by her family Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Loni was born June 19, 1961, in Warren, the daughter of Wells Wheeler and Margaret Jean Sayers Young.

Loni shared all of her love to any person she met, and everyone instantly loved her back. She always greeted you with a big hug and a warm smile, always making sure everyone knew how much she loved them, and how much she cared every chance she got. She knew just what to say to get a laugh or cheer someone up.

She will be dearly missed by her fiancé and best friend of 16 years, Steven Kerr; two daughters, Tabatha (Jeff) Walker of Bazetta and Amy Cope (Derek Ripple) of Warren; one son, Brian Cope of Niles; three grandchildren, Saralyn (14), Chelsea (10), and Nico (1 month). Siblings, Debbie (Jack) Whalen of Cortland, Hope Metzler of Warren, Cydne (Jack) Nice of Hartsville, SC, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Kenneth Gonsalves, Wells Richard Young, and her son, Christopher Nicholas Cope.

A memorial service celebrating Loni’s life will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Cortland Trinity Baptist Church 2576 McCleary Jacoby Road in Cortland, OH 44410.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
